Schlafly Reserve Imperial Stout is one of my beers tonight. This beer is very strong and very good. This one I enjoyed with BEARable Beers and my wife out on the patio of a great place called Smooth Endings in MO. We all enjoyed the bourbon taste of this beer and in saying that if you are not big in the stronger alcohol this beer might not be for you. This beer I felt would be best enjoyed with a cigar or a juicy steak and you don’t want to rush it because if you do, it will bite you hard and in saying that here is the beer specs -AC: 10.5 ABV -Bitterness: 40 IBUs -Appearance: Deep Black My Beer Grade is A Now before your like what an A, I’m basing this on what a seasoned drinker would think of this guy. In saying that, if you are a master of the brew, go grab this stout, go buy a steak, cook it up how you like it (I like mine rare), pour it in a glass , grab someone you love or love the one you’re with and enjoy it. For you padawans out there I heed warning if you are going to try this beer have a friend there and take it slow, we are all with you in this fight.
